Fairytale Brugges

We took a short weekend trip to Brugge. The weather was phenomenal and we enjoyed walking among the maze of canals, eating chocolate, and drinking beer. Luckily Mikayla is way ahead of her peers and has learned how to drive -- thus fulfilling our much needed role as a designated driver. Not really, we stayed in a super cute hotel.

Mikayla is probably looking for a horse in this picture. There were horse-drawn carriages throughout the old town area and she quickly was able to recognize that the "clip-clop" meant that a horsie was going to be trotting by. She LOVED the horses.

These doggie creatures are very interesting.
What are they doing now? That looks like Meadow might not like Sierra chewing on her ear.
Oh, Meadow is playing with Sierra! Doggies are funny Those doggies are silly and make me laugh all the time. By the way, look at me standing so well on my own with the Laufenwagon. Maybe one day when mommy gets smart enough she'll put a video of me walking with it!

And me, smiling as usual. Did you know that I'm almost ONE?? My First Birthday is on 31 March 2009. This year has flown by quickly!
